I created this 5in x 7in perfect bound notebook in my Publication Graphics class. I set the file up in Adobe InDesign. I set the bleed and slug, and then created a document for the front of the cover, and then one for the back of the cover. Then I saved it as a PDF, and uploaded it to the Fiery RIP. After that, I aligned the two documents on the Xerox 700 so they would print back to back on a single sheet. After printing the cover, I counted out 50 sheets of 20# paper and then trimmed them to half size. I put the 50 sheets into the perfect bind machine, added the glue, and then attached the cover. After binding the the notebook, I used the guillotine cutter to trim the book to a finished size of 5in x 7in.
